VUMC Lab Requirements

In accordance with VUMC guidelines, the following tasks must be completed before you are able to start working in any lab in the VUMC.

1. Email amanda.c.cupples@vumc.org

   1. Ask her what needs to be completed prior to working your first shift

2. Complete background check

The background check typically takes 48-72 hours to complete

Technically, you shouldn’t be working in your lab until this clearance comes through, so make sure your PI is aware of this.
